Remembering My Soul Friend
In Loving Memory of Willice Law Kearan
It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly a decade since we lost Willice. She was an extraordinary woman who touched so many lives with her warmth, creativity, and the unwavering strength she carried through every challenge. Today, I share this post to reflect on her impact—both on my life and on the many others who were fortunate enough to know her.
Willice’s spirit radiated constant joy and generosity. I often referred to her as "Sage" because her presence had a way of clearing the air in any space she entered. She possessed a rare wisdom that inspired me deeply. Willice had a gift for making every moment feel special and for bringing light into even the darkest spaces. Her love for art, her insightful way, and her infectious laughter are memories I will carry with me always. She was a true force of nature—someone who blended strength and gentleness in ways that few could match. Above all, kindness was her guiding principle. She carried an unwavering intention to bring joy to everyone she encountered.
Though she left this world far too soon, the mark she made is indelible. Her presence is still felt, especially in the hearts of her loving family, friends, and the many people she inspired.
In the screenshots that follow, you’ll see a few messages shared about her passing, reflecting on the impact Willice had and the grief of losing her. She's someone who truly lived with purpose, someone who will never be forgotten.
As I share these snippets today, I am reminded that the loving connections we form with those we embrace along our path never truly leave us...They bind us together forever and we carry a part of them with us as we continue our life's journey. Willice’s memory lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and I am grateful to have been one of those people.
I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on those in your life who have left an indelible mark and cherish the love that continues to surround you.
We remember you, dearest friend, and cherish you still. Your legacy remains in the rhythm of our hearts, the stories we tell, and the love you gave that will never fade.
